Transplant Day -5

Hey everyone! Today is day -5 until transplant!

Today was a relatively uneventful day, which is amazing! Uneventful is always great while staying in the hospital.

Two sleepless nights due to the early morning chemotherapy have finally caught up with Brandon. Thankfully it was relatively quiet today so he managed to get in some great naps! Aside from napping he also managed to get in a few good laps around the ward and spent some time up and out of bed.

Brandon’s blood counts are starting to be effected by the chemotherapy so he needed two units of red blood cells and one unit of platelets. Brandon’s white blood cell count is continuing to drop as well so the doctors are playing close attention for any signs of infection.

Brandon is officially more than half way done with the pre-transplant chemotherapy with only 2 more days to go. We are hoping and praying that he continues to feel well in the days to come.

Thank you all for your support. Please keep Brandon in your thoughts and prayers as he continues with this transplant process.
